What to prepare for
Online assessment
Tesco says its scenario-based online assessments cover motivation for Tesco, business thinking and judgement, problem solving and fit with its Win Together behaviours. It does not name a provider or publish a length.
Scheme-specific extra test
Tesco says the Software Engineering Graduate Scheme adds a Codility coding assessment. It does not say whether IMS Technology Engineering adds a coding test.
Recorded video interview
Taken in the same stage as the online assessment. Tesco says you get 30 seconds to think and up to 3 minutes to answer each question, and practice questions are not assessed.
Virtual assessment centre
A virtual day from 9:00am to 3:30pm with a group discussion, a one-to-one conversation based on a business scenario and a motivational interview.
Tesco practice focus
