What situational judgement tests measure

Situational judgement tests measure workplace decision-making. You are shown a realistic scenario and asked to rate how effective each possible action would be. There is rarely a single right answer — the scoring recognises that some actions are better than others, and awards partial credit for a rating close to the keyed one. Employers use them to see how you weigh competing pressures such as service, honesty and escalation.

Common questions

How is this test scored?

Each action is rated on a four-point effectiveness scale. You get 2 points for matching the keyed rating and 1 point for a rating either side of it, so being close still earns credit. The maximum is therefore twice the number of actions.

Are these real test questions?

No. Every question is written by us in the style of common assessment formats. We do not reproduce material from any live assessment, and we are not affiliated with any test publisher or employer.

Is there a full version?

Yes. Pro unlocks the full test for this category, every other complete question bank and all worked explanations. You can choose a monthly plan or a fixed 90-day pack.
